Come & Try Bushcraft
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to light a fire and cook a meal over an open fire then our ‘Come and Try Bushcraft’ course is just what you are looking for. The sessions are usually 2 hours long and are a fantastic way for family and friends to come together to have fun in the outdoors and learn about bushcraft.
During your time with us you’ll be shown:
- Cutting tools and how to use them safely;
- Shelter making;
- A variety of ways to light a fire without matches; and
- How to use your fire to cook a simple meal outdoors.
If time permits we may also look at making natural cordage, carving or natural navigation the natural way.
We can either run these courses on demand or you can join us on one of our open course dates listed below.
- Sat 7 October
All courses will be run at our bushcraft site in Shrewsbury and we provide all necessary equipment and food.
The cost of the course is £25 per person and we require a minimum of three people for the course to run. We are also pleased to offer a discount for group bookings of 4 or more.
